Nexus

Imagine never being alone in your own head.

Since they could think, Betty, Xiao Dan, Sister Hildergard, Azura, Abigail, Jasmine and Ali have heard each others thoughts and felt each others pain. Separated by centuries, the women attribute the other voices, the phantom feelings, to Angels, demons and even madness until the discovery of a Chinese puzzle box, and revelation of ancient knowledge, confirms that all the women are real people. A group connected, a Nexus.

As the Nexus turns twenty-one, Ali, a scavenger barely surviving in the far future, dies. The Nexus are devasted until Jasmine, a coder in the mid twenty-second century creates a AI that can track events, and devise strategies to manipulate history. Working together the Nexus attempts to save the world, and Ali, but soon they come to realise, there are powerful forces working against them.
